Hey fellow g37 owners,

Today I performed an oil change & cleaned out my throttle bodies. I did unbolt the throttle bodies and clean inside and out.

After finishing I replaced all parts and performed the following resets.
-Accelerator Release position reset
-Throttle Valve Closed Position
-Idle Air Volume Reset

For the idle air volume reset i did:
-turn car on to ignition 3 seconds
-depress and release pedeal 5x in 5 secs
-wait 7 secs and depress and hold pedal for 11 secs
-service light blinks for 9 secs then returns to solid light
-turn on the vehicle and wait 20 secs and blip the throttle 3x

After this procedure my Slip, Service engine light, & VCD lights came on. I proceeded to pull the code using a scanner and it pulled P1233.

Any ideas?

 

Did you unplug your battery when you unbolted them? Just unplug your battery for 30 mins
