Help Isr hfc & cel
Isr hfc & cel
Long story short, I have to get VA emissions done and I have test pipes on. I have ISR HFC’s but not the stock cats. I was wondering will these trip a CEL without extenders on? I’m tuned on ecutek and my o2 sensors are currently turned off but i’m not sure if it will pas computer so I was thinking of turning them on with my HFC but I don’t wanna waste time if the CEL is gonna turn on. Does anyone have any experience with the CEL and HFCs?
I don't have experience with HFC but i feel your chances of getting a CEL with HFC are less, but would use the extender just incase.
I live in Atlanta, and have used 3 different types of test pipes and luckily have never gotten a CEL. I've passed emissions with no problems. I'm lowered and have a shield that covers the underside, so despite having a visual, they always just assume i have a cat.

That post from my build thread is how i did it. looks like crap but it works great. it doesn't actually cover the test pipe area but the inspector thinks thats where my "cats" are located
