Test Pipes / HFCs Issues & Problems
I'm interested in purchasing a set of test-pipes/hfc's to make my car louder.
After some extensive research I have concluded that test pipes/hfc's bring a lot of unwanted attention to these cars.
Problems include:
1. CEL Light
2. Hesitation/Bog (Mostly around 3k RPM)
3. Tuning Issues (Running Rich/Lean)
* - Worst problem is that no one has a 100% fix. (Non-Foulers, Steel Wool, & Brilo)
I would like to know if anyone has a solid solution to these problems. It would also be nice to see how many people are actually having issues with their set-ups.

^ I don't have any of those problems and my Berk HFC's have been on my car for almost a year and everything is perfect, my car is also tuned using UpRev software... If you haven't gotten an exhaust yet, buy that first.. HFC's and TP are to replace stock cats to free up more power, not to make the car louder (although they do that too) ... If you're just looking for sound get a Cat Back Exhaust and be done with it.
If you are going to run TP and HFC, get a tune and use the power that they are supposed to give you... they were not just made to create more sound.
edit:
You for got to put a choice for - No - HFC (no fix) w/ Aftermarket CBE

IMHO, it's not worth spending thousands for a few HP here and there. I don't think I want a tune unless I go FI. That's why I haven't bought HFC/TP's yet.
I currently have a Stillen Cat-back on my car but I want something meaner.
If you're not having any issues with your HFC, please vote.
(No - HFC with No Issues).
