Smile 200K Mi trans fluid change

Recently just bought a cheap 180K G37 Sedan/Auto Trans and as i am now 200+K with it, I fail to check when the last service for the Trans fluid was. Is it safe to change it? or would it totally poop on me? TIA

If the last service was done by a dealer, your local dealership should be able to bring up the date and type of service done in your G's history. At 180K, a tranny flush with fresh ATF is a must. How does the 7-speed tranny operate currently?

Flushing the trans fluid at that mileage would destroy it no? Assuming it hasn’t been changed or flushed regularly before. Maybe a drain and refill but again, if it’s never been done before... it’s a risk
