Happy Thanksgiving. :-)
I'm very happy to say that this Hitachi worked! I went for a 30 min drive and everything seems legit. Best it has been since this started.
thanks for all the help guys! Don't buy anything other than Hitachi!!!

That's great news and I am glad you got it sorted out.
Can you post Mode $06 VVT pics with the new part?

Thanks! Here you are. Keep in mind this is only with about 20miles on it. Cleared it before I left so it is new data.
100% of the misfires are gone.

Too bad Rock Auto sells new parts that don't work.
Just imagine how nice it would of been if the first part would have worked

You can say that again. It is crazy that parts that don't work are being sold as OEM compatible. As an engineer, I just can't wrap my mind around that.
I'm glad they credited me the money, but they should take a hard look at the parts they carry.

Edit - BUY THIS ONE...IT WORKED!!

When you were having this issue, did your car lose most of its power under 3k rpm?

It would go into limp mode,,,give a rough idle and limit revs <2,500 or so. But the exact RPM's might vary for you.

Use a code reader and find out where you're getting misfires, if you are.
