The Service Engine Soon light is still on and I can feel the misfires. Now, it's leading me to think that it has something to do with the wiring harness. Should I do anything else before taking it to a mechanic, and what should I estimate the repair cost to be?

Can you see the voltage on your battery? Service manual says a weak battery could be a cause.

I had just tested it out, following this video
, and my battery was around 12 v to start and once it was running it went to 14 v, so according to him my alternator is good (and so is my battery). Do you think it could have something to do with the starter motor, like how it's a possible cause in the manual?

Here are some pictures of the camshaft position sensors' wires on the passenger (https://ibb.co/album/3vNv7j) & driver's (https://ibb.co/album/vsvMFm) sides.

Those wires on the first picture look like they are about to break off and there is no sheathing. Look how the plug is twisted in the 2nd picture you took of the first connector. It looks like the wires touch when it is twisted like that. A good thing about this is now you have an easy spot to test the wiring to the connectors from the ECU. Yea those plugs look bad where the wires are going into them. Plug them back in but make sure none of the wires are touching each other. Reset computer and give it another go.

Hey, just wanted to say that I really appreciate the constant help. So, from my understanding, first try to position the wires in a position where they are not twisted together and, if that doesn't work, then aim find a new wiring harness as those are starting to become unsheathed? I attempted to look up videos regarding the CPS wires but I have been unable to find much about the actual wires themselves.
