ZIM, is that the OEM red? Looks like a custom burnt orange in the picture.

It is OEM Venetian Ruby. I believe it's a 3 stage paint. God help me if I ever need to have something matched.

If you floor it on the highway the rear end will kick out for a split second until it sends power to the front and and traction control kicks in. Get good tires and you'll be 100% fine. If you do a lot of highway driving go buy the Hakka 9 studded tires and you'll be pretty much invincible and only limited by ground clearance.

I searched a lot and read that snow mode only sends power to the front up to a certain speed (everything from 15-45mph is what i've read) Where have you read it keeps it in AWD at all speeds?

That makes me very happy! Thanks. I'll look into those tires too. I've been a pretty big Bridgestone Blizzaks fan in the past.

Check out the x-ice too. I have them on my g and they're incredible.

I got mine for even cheaper locally in $CAD too, and the install was super easy. Highly recommend this mod.

Blizzaks are also a great choice. Hakka>Blizzak>X-Ice. The only thing you'll be limited on it ground clearance, and that stretch of highway south to Leduc where everyone else seems to end up in the ditches.

.
Having run both Blizzak and X-Ice on my G I've got to say the Blizzak is a much better winter tire. X-Ice seems to be better planted and handling on dry road, but they seem lacking in snow and ice traction.

Interesting! I guess I just have to wait for the warm weather to hit, my tax return, and I’m off to the races!
