Issue after ITB13-019a

Recently had the ITB13-019a update after I had a complaint of a harsh downshifting. Dealer did not find anything abnormal but found the P0710 code stored and updated per the TSB. As it is a 2013, it already had the update from factory for the lag issue discussed in length in this forum. This update improved what I thought was already "updated" in terms of the sluggishness/lag.

The issue is the update took away the aggressiveness of the DS mode. It only rev matches under heavier braking and the downshifts, whether rev-matching or downshifting in DS, are now quieter. I thought about replacing air filters, cleaning MAF and disconnecting battery overnight but not sure if that would help.

Can anyone else who has this update to their 2013 chime in? Also, is it possible to revert to older software on the TCM? Thank you.

Yep, I have the same update and noticed the same thing you did. Not sure if dealer will revert for you, and even if they do that it'll be free.

you may just need to drive it for a while to "relearn" your driving style to get it to behave the way it used to in the DS mode again

Hopefully. I have driven about 1k since but it was all mostly in D , not DS. Dealer said it may need to relearn as well and that I could NOT go back to previous software on the TCM.

How long has it been since the update?
