Infiniti G37x sedan 2012 code P1091

alright this is my first post, been in the page lurking since couple years ago, but today I have something to say about my car. Well the thing is that one day I started my car and car was on limp mode with the service engine light on. I couldn't make it pass the 1.5k RPMs, after see an old post here saying that reseting the ECU could fix the problem I did it the car suddenly restore power and was normal. After use my car that day I turned it off until the next day and the car was again on limp mode I resetted the computer again and was back normal for the second time. I took the car tk my mechanic amd told him the problem I turned off the car to see if the problem comes back well the thing is after 30 minutes the car was on limp mode again my mechanic used his code reader to see which code was triggering the Service engine light and it was the code P1091 related with the VVEL. well I took the car home and the next day when I started the car it was on limp mode again I tried to reset the ECU but the car was still the same this time the reset didn't do anything I tried to reset it 5 times and nothing the car was in limp mode after every try. I came back here to do some research and read on other post that it could be related with the relays, I ordered some new ones to replace the old ones, after try that the car was still the same, tried to reset the car but was in vane. now I ordered the VVEL module to see if can solve the problem. Any thoughts for me? I changed the oil when I bought the car when it was on 61,451 miles now car has 63.2k miles Idk if it could be the oil too

Your "mechanic" is not qualified!

Take it to a dealer any pay for a proper diagnosis.
Buy cheap, buy twice!

looks like I have to take my car to the dealer. Just to start tow is 125$ and any hour of labor is 140$ plus taxes.

Better than my dealer's $150 diagnostic fee, which isn't comped from any repairs they perform under $1k.

Dudee...... No Offense But WTF!! Your Car goes into limp mode for a reason!!! Don`t just reset your computer and hope it does not come back. Your car is telling you something is wrong !! trust it!! Reason it goes into limp mode in the first place is to save your wallet and that seems like a big concern for you so Don't turn something that could potetionally be just a bill for a tow and diagnostic to something major that's going to cost you Thousands... Again all IMO so take it for what it is.
I hope everything works out and its something not to major....
