Replacing my transmission at 115k miles....

So I found out tonight why my decently new disc compleltey shredded apart. And why my zspeed heavy duty csc is leaking all within a years time. My input had excessive play in it and I was sold I will keep breaking clutches unless I get a new Transmission... Any have experience with this? Any rebuild kits or is it better to just buy a good used transmission.

Look in the forsale section. I can't remember if it was here or on the the370z.com site, but there was a brand new 6mt for sale for under $2K iirc.

"My input had excessive play" -> input shaft?

If so, you should compare the price of replacing the input shaft bearing vs replacing the tranny.

If you cant just replace the bearing, our 6 speeds are fairly cheap. You can get a used trans for $6-800 with a warranty all day.

I would use ebay, car-part.com or no warranty with the for sale section of my370z, 6mt.com or here.

When I was in the 2JZ world, people were finding the CD009 trans for 4-500 all the time so the deals are out there.
