Block hailrine crack in water pump housing
so my coolant was leaking, by mechanic pulled the water pump and realized it was not through the seep hole.
anyone seen a cracked block in here before? 108K miles

An extended warranty would really pay off now.
Lots of labor to discover the damage. Doubt it's fixable as the block tends to expand/contract as the car warms up/cools down.
Looks like a bad casting. Look closely around and near the crack.
