California and HFC??

Those of you who havd HFC's and live in Cali, have you had any problems? like the dealer pointing them out during service work, or cops asking about them? And after you put them on, did you feel like it was worth it? I am trying to stay "somewhat" CARB legal.
I got my Stillen Cat-back, grounding kit, and ordered the R2C intake, This Crap is addictive and Expensive. my wife is sure to kill me soon.

The only problem you'll have is getting a tad bit lean.

It's technically illegal to tamper with your exhaust system when it's not necessary, but HFC's are basically the in-between point between your stock one and test pipes.

A bit increased flow, but still less/no smell.

On the other hand, if you get an exhaust ticket, well...

I don't think a cop will check your under carriage for the HFC... like mike said, HFC's are the in between that is legal... since test pipes are obviously illegal, but who will ever know?

and i agree, modding is addicting... i thought i was done after injen cai... lmfao yeah right...

It would, though if you're concerned about running a little lean from HFCs, you'd probably want to get a custom tune w/ the cobb to make sure the A/F ratios are right. Add another mod to the list!!!

Technically speaking, there will NEVER be any "Carb legal" HFC since its actually a federal crime to tamper with the stock cats. (According to the government, that even means replacing the stock cats with OEM cats unless it is necessary ).

Which is why I say, if you're going to make it illegal, might as well go all the way. Test Pipes FTW
