Motor Mounts?

I've been noticing a very slight vibration when the car is idling in drive. It is still present (but less so) when the car is shifted into neutral. Also seems to be a bit of sluggishness with the throttle response.

Sound like a failing motor mount?

Nope... Sounds normal to me. The VQ37VHR engine is not known for its smoothness. Any large displacement V6 will be a little rough.

As for the throttle lag, I suspect it is more of a transmission issue where the transmission takes longer than we would like to downshift. Some folks have had a transmission update done at the dealer and report back that it is much better.

If your motor mounts are shot the engine will flop around like a fish out of water when you punch the accelerator when you're in gear with the brake depressed. Search for checking motor mounts on YouTube to see a video of what it looks like.

Not talking about downshift lag. I have a 2013 so the programing is the latest. Mother's EX doesn't have the same vibration.

Vibration is worse with the AC on

When I had my FI HFC installed it was a slight vibration but once I put on the Top Speed Axleback it's been pretty intense when either in R with brake depressed or D when brake depressed. When the AC is turned on it is even worse sometimes my hand goes kinda numb holding on to steering wheel lol. Possibly wearing motor mounts?

Was not the mounts. Still having the same issue. Paying close attention there does seem tk be a minor fluctuation at idle. Gonna clean the throttle bodies tomorrow and see if it helps. I'm sure its filthy in there since when i first got the car a bit over a year ago a partially plugged passage in valve cover was causing one PCV valve to pull enough oil into the intake during startup that I'd have to top off between oil changes...on that note it could probably use a top end clean as well.
