Is Level10 the only source for reworked valve bodies?

It seems GT Motorsports did them but when they were purchased by Gamma Motorsports the new owners declined to continue that market.

Who else?

 

Go with Level 10. Stay far away from GTM aka Gamma they are scumbags! I have the Level 10 VB and it's working out great so far.

 

Agreed, Level 10 does awesome work and they are a stand up shop! They go out of their way to help out.

Can you just send in the valve body? What's the turn around time? Do they do 5AT also?

Edit: In case anyone searches, yes they do 5AT as well, just lookup the G35 instead. Yes you send them the valve body and there's a 1 day turn around. The biggest wait is the shipping. Cool stuff.

I'm planning a drive up the Right Coast later this year, I thought I'd leave my car with them and use a loaner to visit friends about an hour away from their shop. Unfortunately, that means driving the Tail of the Dragon with sloppy shifting.

 

Just start North and drive south to the Dragon. Not much fun driving it with a sloppy shifting.......Of course you could just hold it in 2nd with an occassional upshift to 3rd.

 

They did the valve body on my Supercharged/Meth injected 4runner.

 

And how did you like it?

It was great. Those 4 spd 4runner trans are not designed to withstand that kind of increase in power. Never had any issues, slipping or otherwise after the install.
