I'm an idiot, help me out (6MT Clutch Issues)

I did something stupid.

SO. Long story short. Bought a South Bend Stage 3 Daily Clutch. Didn't replace any bearings. Throw Out Bearing bound up, and burned my clutch really, really badly.

So, my friends, what all do I need to buy/replace to keep this from happening again? And, does anyone by chance know how much JUST a replacement clutch disc is?..

Wow, sorry for that man. That's an expensive mistake.

You need an HD CSC from ZSpeed and a new clutch disc. Replace the roller bearing and the master if you didn't last time. Inspect the flywheel for visible damage and pray it isn't messed up.

I received the ZSpeed CSC in the kit, and it was installed by a trusted mechanic... wtf. Could it be an issue with that? Or an issue with the pressure plate perhaps? I'm going to be absolutely livid if this is a hardware issue.

^ that repair estimate is out to lunch. on the G37/370Z, more than just the friction plate needs to be replaced. at a minimum the CSC and MC needs to be done as well. labor is not much once the gearbox is dropped, but it still adds $400-$500 to the total cost. most folks replace the pressure plate as well, and some replace the flywheel - but that is a case-by-case basis. if replacing with the OE dual-mass flywheel add $800 or so.

If you installed the HD CSC and the throw out bearing bound up then something is very wrong. They're not 2 separate parts like on most cars. Was the CSC purchased new?

Yes, brand new. Installed by a reputable shop. I spoke with the owner of the shop just a few minutes ago, and he informed me that they have seen this issue before - "when you look at the clutch it looks fine, all the material is there, it looks good - it just wont hold the power."

But still - do not know if this was a CSC issue, or an actual clutch issue. Whatever it is, the clutch doesn't even have 5k miles on it. So I'm pretty upset.
