removal of TB coolant return

While i've been looking up how to do flex fuel conversion to E85, i've seen in some threads about ppl removing the coolant return lines to their throttle body...

i'm hesitant to do this; my main fear is lack of TB response in stupid-cold situations.

does anyone have any personal experience or input on the matter?

I don't have any info for you, but why would you need to do this for the e85 conversion? I'm converting my G to e85 and my tuner mentioned nothing of the coolant lines needing modification.

I only hear of people doing this who don't plan to drive their cars in cold weather. CA, AZ etc

There's a diy in the diy section. Makes intake Temps read lower. Real easy to remove. U shouldn't do this if it snows in your area.

I did this because Texas and I have so much heat under the hood anyway. This definitely isn't needed for E85 conversion.

It was mentioned in a thread I was browsing thru. The guy said he did it since he already had the top half off installing the injectors, and I figured I could do it just to give me something to do.

I live in GA btw
