I'm trying to diagnose for myself if I have a bad input shaft bearing. The noisy throwout bearing issue I'm aware of, but I can also hear a faint whine accelerating, usually in lower gears. The whining doesn't follow the RPMs; if I let go of the gas pedal, the whine disappears for the most part. I'm thinking it's probably just the diff going to work, fuel pump, or engine noise, but I want to be doubly sure, although I don't know what a bad input shaft bearing sounds like...anyone have a video I can reference, please?

On idle, push in the clutch then release it. If u hear a noise upon releasing, the throw out bearing is shot.
