RJM Performance Clutch Pedal Assembly
I installed my RJM pedal not quite a year ago but left it at the 70% clockwise (instruction install) settings and hadn't tweaked it since then because to be honest it's kind of a pain in the *** to adjust (both sensors as well as untightening the allen screw to adjust the red ****). I noticed a little improvement but wasn't overly impressed.
After revisiting this thread I decided to play with the settings and try the per Rochester's setting 0% with 1 turn clockwise and I now definitely notice that the clutch engagement/release is far smoother. In adjusting the **** I also noticed that the sensor that detects full clutch pedal press was loose, so it's good I made this adjustment. I tightened both sensors up again, but I may have to check these about every 6 months so I'm not potentially stranded with a car that won't start.

Read through the installation instructions a few times and I have a couple questions.
My AFP **** is at 70% and I want to turn it to 100%. What other adjustments need to be made? I'm a little unclear about that part.

AFAIK

I prefer a wide engagement, and a high pedal. It's just really easy to drive that way.
The two electrical switches (cruise and ignition) may need to be re-aligned if you adjust the main ****. It's not that bad, and they still seem to work well even if there's a fair amount of sloppy fitment. These are adjustments so that the switches function properly, and have nothing to do with the pedal engagement... unless the cruise switch is compromising the pedal.

So as long as my car starts and cruise control disables when the clutch is depressed then they're aligned correctly I assume?

Well, no. You can assume that they're aligned well enough to function, but to be aligned optimally, you need to just get down there and look at things. It all becomes clear when you look at it.
installed mine today, took about 2 hrs. i'm in love with the car again. was suppose to be my 1st mod but got side tracked with the spring swap. i'm been hating the pedal ever since i got accustomed to it.
the RJM arm is the best quality engineering and parts! i did two turns back and on the clutch rod turned it back till it was flush with the fork. Got engagement around 1.5-2" off the floor

one thing tho.. i can really hear that blasted throw out bearing now more than before.

Ok so I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. Have it set at around 90% (one turn from all the way counter clockwise) and lately it doesn't feel as off the floor as it used to. I've rechecked all the bolts and adjustments and it's feeling like stock again with all the annoying symptoms. Any ideas guys?

Mine's been installed for going on 4 months, and I still have moments when I'm aware of how much better this is than before.
You say "off the floor", which is a mechanical adjustment of the three bolts that allow you to set the pedal height. So while those bolts might feel tight, it could also have slipped.

i am correct in dialing it back all the way left before turning it once back correct?

Wish I knew what to tell you. Contact Ryan at RJM and discuss it with him. My experience is that he's really open to dialog, and would gladly give you advice.
so figured out my issue a few weeks back.. in all the adjusting tuning.. i forgot along the way that i have to push in the pedal 1/2 way before locking in the adjustment ****.
i've also adjusted the hell out of this thing to find where i liked it.
**** from 1-3 turns clockwise
pedal height in relation to the brake pedal
and finally settled on 2.5 turns clockwise and height level to the brake (after the freeplay). i choose this based on the engagement high, amount of engagement and also in relation to the feel of the gear and stick engagement (how easily it was to get the car into gear). Since i have a SS the two adjustments did play a part in gear engagement.
also in the numerous adjustments i began stretching pedal bolts to breaking..
found exact replacement in HomeDepot bolt isle look in the loose bolt bins for ADA

Nice bit of fine-tuning you did there. And pretty cool to have a device that let's you do it.
I can honestly say that I'm far enough removed from the OEM clutch pedal that I can no longer remember what it was like. The new normal is just normal now, and the only thing I can remember is how happy I was with the mod afterwards.
And Toxic, you're right about over-torquing the pedal bolts. I do recall thinking like that could easily happen.
