Help repair after accident
repair after accident
Hey guys my first post here, and I know search. Etc. It's a noob question but I haven't been able to find the answer. I recently wrecked, destroyed the rear right knuckle, and a few other suspension parts. I replaced the lateral arm, radius rod, knuckle, axle, wheel hub assembly and put a stock wheel with no damage on the car. On stock staggered set up 19 inch. Drove the car and the alignment is off pretry bad. My slip and vdc off lights stay on. I know it's the steering angle sensor, and I'm going to go in for an alignment. My question is, will I need to get someone with a consult tool and get it to relearn. Or, would I be able to just get a regular alignment? Stock wheels have little to no negative camber, the new wheel has about -2 camber on it so the alignment is waaaaay off. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to comment.
First question, why didn't you file an insurance claim, take it to a certified technician, then have them do the diagnosis and repairs? I don't know what your insurance situation is but that's what it's there for. GL.
OP which corner are you getting neg camber? Stock setup?? Sensors all intact?
