Bad News for MT Enthusiasts
If the premise of the attached article turns out to be true, one of our standard manual versus auto debates may be a thing of the past.

A quarter past stripped
I was just at the dealership two days ago for an inspection and I made a few questions as to the Q60 in 2016. NO 6MT! BUT! They will be trying to plug them into the 2017 models? I asked about the reliability of this info and the sales guy was pretty sure that it would happen. They are also having some issues with the AWD system for the redesigned coupes. He mentioned that components of the M37 suspension are being tried out as possible fixes for the problems being encountered. I thought this was a bit interesting.

Jesus Christ admin, if you don't let us talk about 6MTs even nonchalantly, how is Nissan going to know that they done effed it up and need to release one?
They may have created DAS with their steering wheels, but there's no DAS connecting our brains.

cool. if it's available in 2017. it would be perfect timing as my lease ends in Oct 2017.

I still enjoy my '08 6MT G37S, for its manual shifting as much as anything else (although I wish 1st was a bit smoother -- but maybe that's me). Each time I've rented a car in Europe over the past few years, it's been equipped with a manual transmission. There are a lot of travelers from the U.S. who have no experience with a clutch and I wonder how they fare with those rentals.
