Exhuast question
I bought a top speed pro for 200$ a while back. still on the car, aside from cleaning the damn thing, would HFC's help me gain any power with this Muffler?anything other than a HFC i can add to it to give me any power or clearer louder sound? thank you
The answer to "how can I get more horsepower" has been asked and debated all over this forum. If you're interested in specifics, you should try searching out some of those dedicated threads.
Yes, HFCS,s will increase power beyond a muffler, test pipes will increase power even more, and long tube headers even more than that. You didn't say anything about a budget, so as far as "other things that increase power", how about stroking and sleeving your motor to 4L, building the motor, and stuffing a twin turbo at 20psi in there with a stage 5 transmission?

HFC's or TP's will definitely net a decent bump in power, especially with a tune.
The catback alone will be minimal by comparison.
VQ37HR engines become notoriously raspy as you change the exhaust set-up, so if you go with HFC's or TP's, I highly recommend getting one with resonators.
