Radiator cover/cooling plate

So I may have destroyed my Radiator cover while doing my grill. the internet says its needed to support air flow to the radiator. I cant seem to find anywhere that sells one for the G, under any of the internet names for it.

Does anybody know of a place to get an aftermarket one that isnt coming from the stealership??

Are you talking about the plastic plate just above the radiator?

yeah, removed it to take off my grill, may have accidentally driven over it while it was off my car, clearly just a cheap plastic

That's not a hard to get part. Any dealership can get it. Any place that sells OEM parts can get it.

Found a website with diagrams, lists it as sight shield for the coupe, $55 ish. dont really wanna buy it, but I think its necessary for proper radiator functioning.

Where did you read it was necessary? Can you send me a link, I am curious what it says. Also 55$ sounds pretty cheap to me, unless you want to spend 250$+ on a status elite / autokits cf one.

I don't think AKX makes one, or I would have bought it!

I just noticed it wasn't on their website. I guess it was a one off he made for this member here and it never went into production.
