Ebay Test Pipe Questions...
There seem to be 2 different resonated test pipes available on ebay. One is the notorious OBX Racing the other is Megan Racing. Both are very inexpensive at under $180 shipped. My question is has anybody on here actually tried these on a G37? I am just looking for people with real world experience. Please don't suggest I buy the extremely overpriced name brands available. I'm not looking for the catted ones either so I don't think they should cost 500+. It's just a pipe and resonator. Shouldn't cost that much. I wonder who's going to flame me first.
I was looking at the same items on ebay but then I looked on amazon and found a generic brand for $130 shipped. Ordered and still waiting on them to arrive, hoping to have them in this weekend. I can let you know then how well they fit/perform afterwards if you're still interested.

I know this thread ended awhile ago but I am considering the same obx test pipes. I had Megan non-resonated, they fit great but would resp 2500 to 3500, so I decided to get the y-pipe to, this made it worse. I like the look of these. They have the factory support brace mounts, the Megan's did not and would shake some. Also the obx have the same style fitment end to the header, the Megan had a 1/2 flange with a pipe in it. It was not smooth and not the same size as the opening exactly.
How do you like them? Did they fit good or did you have to struggle to get them to line up? How do they sound? Do u get the rasp and would u be able to make a short video of the sound? I can't find one anywhere.
Thanks Brian
