EcuTek
Thanks.
I've already sent a email in asking to become a vendor, hopefully I hear back from them soon.
Flex Fuel is something I've been pushing on EcuTek for years, 370Z will most defiantly have this, just not sure if it's going to be part of the second phase of RaceRom. Boost Control is also coming, not sure when. Development happens very quickly at EcuTek, the main RaceRom developer is in Nissan mode right now currently working on GTR in parallel with 370Z. Features are getting written as I type this post. Just got confirmation that 4-Way Map Switching that drives the Rev Counter is already working. Launch Control was written a few weeks ago, so things are going very well.
I wouldn't personally jump into a a upgraded turbo on the juke just yet, I would recommend the flash route first. The EcuTek flash is pretty cool because you can raise and lower the boost on-the-fly. But as we know from the GTR, the Nissan Boost Control system is awful and really only works well on stock sized turbos. EcuTek has plans on rewriting the boost control system for Juke but other things are taking priority *cough* 370Z *cough* After they do more Juke work I would totally recommend a upgraded turbo.
It's been said before, EcuTek makes great tuning tools but the tool is only as good as the person behind the key board. So keep that in mind!

Sounds good. I look forward to results of the Ecutek fuel option for our platform. This will be huge for the VQ market.
Make sure you guys keep a eye on my facebook page, I'm always posting up the stuff I'm working on, EcuTek updates etc
Thanks.
Here's a STOCK car, before and after EcuTek Tune

Thanks, it's something I'm already working on!

Hi John,
Great to see you in here. Your G37 input will be rewarded.
Guys, I've known John for years as a friend and a tuner, and he's always steered me straight. He's a really good resource for this forum and the VQ37VHR engines.
Looking forward to your new projects (as mine backpedals to OEM stock.
)

Regardless you can see a nice improvement
The improvement isn't from just the fueling adjustment it's from the timing control we have with the EcuTek.
I really wish we had EcuTek back when I was first working on Coops car.

Take a look at the OEM ignition curve vs the EcuTek tune.
On the Top graph shows the stock ecu ignition curve
On the bottom is two curves, what the factory ecu is commanding for ignition timing and what EcuTek is actually outputting.
The point of this is the OEM ignition tables have not been changed yet runs ignition timing on almost each pull. The OEM Timing Logic is just inconsistent - having a for ever changing ignition curve is not good for making consistent power especially on forced induction cars!

Uh, I didn't really have a point per se. I just wanted to know if you knew of anyone near me that you can recommend to do a good job of tuning my G37 using this software whenever it finally arrives with my GTM TT parts.
Dynotronic's is a 370Z EcuTek dealer in TX, but I dont think he's done anything with turbo setups yet, I actually haven't seen any dynosheets from him period.
I've only done one turbo car so far, but have had many requests.
EcuTek has plans on releasing VE Based SD for this platform very soon.
Once that update is out you'll see a lot more from me.
John
I'm pretty sure you know that's kind of a sore spot with those of us who are trying to stay patient. Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound Sam. But on the bright side, maybe ECUTek will have some more functionality or features available by the time we get our hands on it. And perhaps more tuners will have had time to work with us giving us greater choice.
