Dented Lower Oil Pan - 2012 G37x

I have a slightly dented (inward) oil pan on my 2012 G37x. I am looking to replace the oil pan in the next week and I have referenced the Service Manual. If I am reading the manual properly, the 10mm bolts that hold the pan in place are torqued to 6.9 lbs? I thought it would be more? Anyone?

Anyhow, I am still looking for a replacement pan, time to hit up the forum vendors...

Thxs

You didn't read the torque correctly. It's 6.9 n/m which is 61 inch pounds. It's not a lot. Be sure to install the bolts in the sequence shown in the FSM.

Thanks, should I torque the bolts down to spec in order or torque them 50% and then the remaining 50% in order? Sorry if that sounds confusing.

Hand tighten them all in order. Go back and torque to spec in order.
