Idle Air Relearn - Quick Question
Idle Air Relearn - Quick Question
I recently cleaned my throttle bodies, and the car actually idles great.
However I noticed that the car doesn't sound as "crisp" as it did before when moving up the RPM's. I was going to try the idle air reset procedure, but I had a few questions...Pardon my lack of knowledge, but I'm new to these VQ motors. I am pretty mechanically inclined, but I just like to always make sure I have my ducks in a row...
Do I need to do this procedure after cleaning the throttle bodies? The car idles great (right around 600rpm). Real smooth and can barely tell the car is running now?
If I do need to do the procedure, can I just disconnect the battery for an hour if I have difficulty getting that procedure down (I've noticed a few people seem to have difficulty with the timing)?
