VDC & slip light come on under light acceleration and remain on

I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything related so new topic it is.

Has anyone encountered a situation where the VDC and slip light come on during very light acceleration and then remains on until you restart the car? This also disables VDC apparently because I went into a parking lot to see if the tires would break loose and they did.

Just wondering if anyone else had the problem before I take it to get it looked at.

Thanks.
