Axle issue I believe

Hi i have a 2009 g37x with 23000 miles which is leased but i am getting mail which states i have no warranty anymore. The main concern is that every time i put it in to park than to drive than to reverse it clicks. Also i like to drive it in tiptronic so it always click when i change gears. What do you think the problems is?

You sure it isn't your transmission making that noise?

What? Why there's no more warranty? Your year or mileage havent exceeded the Factory warranty 5yrs 60k miles.

That's probably just a ploy by the dealership to get you to come in and buy an extended warranty. I'm sure his BASIC warranty is ending but the POWERTRAIN coverage is still in full effect unless he/she has over 60k miles which would probably be a bad thing on a lease...........

I get those solicitation emails all the time stating "attention!!! Your factory warranty is about to expire.". They're all official looking and fool ALOT of people into purchasing an extended warranty/insurance.

Bottom line, Infiniti will NOT send you mail saying your warranty is about to expire.

Your car is 3 years old and has 23k miles on it. The factory warranty is 4/40000 (mine is same year and same mileage bought in October 2011)

Take it to an Infiniti dealer....your ride is still protected.

Now, sounds more like a tranny problem than a drive shaft problem.

You still have a bumper to bumper warranty. It lasts for 48 months and 60K miles. Take a little time off from stunting so hard to read your manual.

My Z had a ticking noise coming from one rear axle. It was a common problem with the Z's. A little grease on the splines of the axles and good as new! But I don't think that's your problem. Take it to the dealer because you do have warranty left.

I have a 6mt and every time I was comming off first or backing up I had a click from the axles. Took it to the dealer they said it was a bushing that needed grease or something. But they fixed it under warranty I'm sure your still covered hope you get it fixed
