A little thread bump
Just got this bad boy installed the other day (thanks to BlackBetty and Huwee for the help and 17 mm wrench lol) and I gotta say its pretty sweet. Its somewhat hard to describe because there really isn't extra "oomph" you get but generally speaking it makes your car move better. When I say better, I mean it feels lighter somehow. I can compare that same feeling to changing my stock wheels to my lighter ADVAN RS-D but more noticeable.
Took it for a quick spin and the RPM got to 7500 much quicker than before. I did not dyno it so I don't hav any HP or TQ gain to claim. All butt dyno.
Noise level, I have motordyne system so the so called humming sound is almost nonexistant. You really have to be listening for it to even notice it IMO. Unless my hearing is that bad.
As far as install. It was more time consuming taking and putting back the exhaust than the DS. I could have taken DIY pics but my Dos Equis was more tempting..

Z1 aluminum driveshaft does not show up on their website any more. Is it discontinued or something?
Sorry if i'm out of the loop and this has already been discussed.

On topic of driveshaft upgrade, looking to swap mine out on my g37x sedan. Any ideas? On other threads we have come to conclusion of we need the length of it to get a custom one for the rear. The front one is left alone or not worth swapping. Anybody know length of g37x rear driveshaft or somebody who sell one for our cars? I realize this was a rwd conversation but a lot of knowledge in the thread, hoping somebody can shed some light on it.

Yeah, I haven't dug into my driveshaft yet but it's on the table for the upcoming year. Jake at EPS tuning does have a CF one that he/EPS is putting out for the X coupes. It should be pretty beneficial to get into the power band quicker (quicker acceleration) and less weight.
