Who has a Stillen G37 Supercharger? Numbers, pics, vids!
Too bad that none of us will be doing this with a Q50. They practically force you to take the terrible artificial steering just to get an S model. Otherwise this kit would be a bolt-on since the engine (ands the rest of the chassis under it) is the same.
BTW, if you didn't catch it before, stock belts will break frequently with this kit. Not Stillen's fault... it's cheap replacement belts like what you'd find at auto parts stores. Go with the Goodyear Gatorback and you won't have any problems. This is the only belt that has survived 15k miles - and still counting.

I have almost 20k on the Stillen kit and only 48.8k miles on the car and just now ran into a problem with the auto transmission. When I super charged I only added the oil and transmission cooler. So now I have a blown transmission. :-( happened two weeks ago now.
That sucks! If you are looking for a good transmission builder, I just had mine rebuilt here in San Antonio with stronger clutch packs. Let me know if you need that info.
Sorry to hear man. On my 08 G37 my Auto started giving out around 99,000 miles, no SC though.
i just finished my stillen build i have done the dyno on it.... and it puts 436 to the tire on pump with a 7 speed auto trans....it has oil and trans coolers on it... i lost horse power because i run 265/30/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear with vossen cv4s 10.5 all the way around so robbed me a bit on the horse power but no big deal. im running a full greddy cat back and love it! same fuel milaged in the 20s on the highway until some honda with a auto zone exhaust trys to run me then i blow past him and maybe get 12 lol but anyway love the car love the proformance....
GTM does a kit for it. You can do basic torque converter all the way up to a built tranny.
Stillen is coming out with a supercharged kit for the Q50..... should be out in the next 30-60 days the only thing different on the kit itself is the intake tube i have a very good relationship with stillen since i pretty much order stuff from them daily LOL... the kit will be out soon though for people who have a Q50 and want to put a blower on it
That's GREAT!
I know the engine and transmission is identical to the G37... except for the (fortunately) optional steering system. I wonder of that requires special tuning in the engine control computer, or if it is separate.
To anybody trying this - read all the above posts, the Stillen system is a great piece of work. Remember to note the post about the belt, that won't be any different here since it's the same engine.
And don't forget sway bars - the perfect addition to the G37, oops, Q50.
