4.083 FD...oil cooler?

Was doing a bit of hunting in light of an oil cooler -- I do more heavy footed driving than most people do daily, guaranteed. Stumbled across an issue with higher revs (in general) because a reason to get an oil cooler. Unfortunately there wasn't much insight into the idea.

I drive almost 95% freeway from around 70-80 mph, daily. At 80, my revs are around 3500. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Eric

unless youre tracking your car i wouldnt worry about it. driving at high speed allows for enough airflow over the radiator to keep the block cool and the oil at good temps.

I also drive my G primarily on highway trips, averaging 80 mph. This is very easy on the cars drive train, brakes and tires.
City driving with constant stops and starts and being stuck in grid locks are what's hard on cars.

As stated above, if your not tracking then no need. Here is the question to ask yourself. Have you put the car in limp mode? If the answer to this is no then you don;t need one

i do, from time to time, "track" in a straight line. thought an oil cooler might be a preventative means. thanks again guys!

Why are your revs at 3500 doing 80MPH? Gas and oil changes must be super cheap around where you live if you drive in lower gears as a norm!
