Oil Change Reset on Dot Matrix Screen

I have not been able to turn off the oil change indicator on the dot matrix screen between the odometer and the speeddometer. I have gone through the maintence/oil/rest option from the owner's manual without success. What's the secret to turning off this feature?

Best,

James

Turn it off? Did you try setting it to 0 miles?

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain, but page through the display to maintenance, select, go to Oil Change and select that, then select reset, should highlight the miles driven number. Then hold the reset button. It shows you which ones to use the uppper button for and which one to use the lower button for with little square and circle pictures. Then repeat for Oil Filter.

It's been a couple of months, but if I remember right, you have to be stopped in neutral or park with the car running.

Dot Matrix Maintenance screen won't reset

I'm having the same problem with my '08 coupe. The reset procedure outlined here doesn't work. When I try to use the upper button which is labeled "enter" vs. lower button labeling "next" it won't reset or allow me to change the mile indicator for service. Happens on both oil filter and Other indicator.

Car is in Park with brake on, engine running. What else should I try?

I'm having the same issue with my 10 sedan. Were you able to figure this out?
