Imua1: ^^^, Granted there may not be thousands of Complaints - at least not here on this forum, but the refernece to Edmunds is another good source with similar posts, the M foums for the leter models with the 7AT have numerous citings of the same complaints, even G25 owners have cited complaints. I entered my complaint directly to Infiniti of NA, they responded months ago, called me, gave me a reference number, contacted my Dealer's Service manager, had the SM make an appointment to met me, drive the car, and later admit that unfortunately, "it is the wya it is"..it is working the way it is designed. Yes, it's quirky, hesitant, coasts poorly, and acknowledged that the TSB in January did little to "fix" it. As I have posted his comments before, it it worse to the people that had previous models with the 5 AT than to others who have just taken the cars lately. IMO, Ignorance is Bliss.... I had the 07, know how much better that car was, and remain unhappy. I'm not counting on any Miracle Cure to this "disease"..

Lemon Law

I have owned three G's (2003, 2006, 2010) and I love the Infiniti brand. However, this transmission issue is frankly unbearable at times and is at the forefront of my mind each time I get into the car. Hate the feeling...

Just curious if anyone has proceeded with filing for the lemon law on the tranny issue and if so, if you actually won.

Cheers,
Craig

keg, I don't think you stand a chance under a Lemon law.... You will simply be told its' the way it is... As I have posted before under the other threads concerning the 7AT, all of the members (hundreds or eevn thousands) should be Contacting: Infiniti of North America - go to the Web site file via email [as I did], and Complain about the Jerkiness, hesitation, an unsatisfactory performance of the Auto Tranny in a $40K car...There is Strength in Numbers...but you have to have the Numbers. Talk is cheap, try to do something.
I have said it countlessly before, aside from this major flaw in performance of the 7AT , everything else about this car is great. It's M owners TOO!!!

Yeah, you're probably right. I sent Infiniti USA an email as you suggested so we'll see if that helps.

Cheers,
