you should look into any full exhaust option. stillen, fast intentions, tanabe, hks, or others I may have missed. It seems if you buy an intake Stillen gen 3's and R2C make the only noticable power.
Then you should chip/tune the car to bring more ponies out of those mods. Then wait..... save up and get a power adder if you aren't thrilled with that power, because it won't get much greater than that without forced induction.
I'd personally go with a turbo, nice ones out are GTM, Greddy, if you want a safer, least expensive route GTM is almost finished with their stage 2 supercharger, that would be the one worth buying IMO.

You're not even a quarter of the way there with $3,000... Do some research before you consider an investment like F/I. Supporting modifications, labor, downtime, risks and repairs all need to be added to the turbo equation... My suggestion: If boosting your car is going to cost you $12,000 on the face (that's a very conservative number), have $20,000+ at your immediate disposal and a second car as a daily driver. Just my $02...

With $3,000 to spend on a completely stock G, here is what I might recommend:

(Rough Pricing Estimates)

1) Springs: $250
2) Sway Bars: $300
3) Upgraded Brake Pads, Rotors, and Stainless Steel Lines: $650
4) Exhaust System: $1,400
5) High Flow Cats: $250
6) Tint: $150
__________________________

Total: $3,000

*If you drive a stick, I might also recommend a short shifter. Great bang for the buck!

The braking and suspension upgrades will not give you performance in terms of horsepower numbers, but I guarantee you will feel a difference and the driving experience will be dramatically improved. Again, these are just my suggestions if you're looking for a few things to do to your G...

High flow cats are more than $250, thats the pricing for test pipes. 150 for tint is also low. I literally just got mine done with 3m tint for $300. even other tint will cost you $200. I paid $200 to get my civic done two yrs ago and that was only the rear windshield and rear windows.

$50 here or there...

Those prices were rough estimates, as I wrote. $200 for tint is not unheard of and one can definitely find a set of HFC's on this forum in the classified section for around $250. You can also get an exhaust system for less than $1,400.00, too. Come on. You get the idea...

If he's got $3,000 to spend, I'm sure $3,100 - $3,200 is not going to break the bank...

I've never seen powder coating like this. Those rims have been chromed. Either way will cost you a fair amount of cash. ($1000 ?)

tints=200
catback= 1000 (im doin mine for 600, so maybe less or more depending on you)
springs= 250 (plus install)
1000 left for brakes, tune, other exterior stuff.....i would personally go with a tune to boost other mods
