Front bearings/seal on fairly newish G37X, waxy stuff and rust? pic inside

I just did the first wheel rotation on my 2009 G37X coupe, 7500 miles, 16 months young, and noticed this white waxy substance and plenty of surface rust while I had the wheel off, took a pic for feedback, even though no problems mechanically have surfaced at this time, to me it looks odd.

you can see the wax/plastic in this pic on the left side of the nut, and covering part of the cotter-pin. Anything to be concerned with?

thanks!

thanks, wasn't worried yet, asking if I should be, you'll have to pardon my due diligence, I find it serves me well now and then

Looks like an old mechanics trick was used for removing wheel bearing hub. I was able to beat mine out.
