Exclamation That TURBO Blow off is OHH SO GOOD - I want it!!

hey guys

A few cars in my area have Turbos - and they are constantly blowing off - god i always wants one. I drive my 2009 G37s as a daily driver and I love the current power - but i really WANT THAT TURBO Sound.. I was thinking of getting a smaller turbo.

I cant be the only guy who love the sound!

What are my options? Ball park costs? Anyone here with a turbo installed - issues? feedback?

For starters it will have to be a twin turbo, seeing as there are two intake manifolds, unless I have something completely screwed up. For what exists on the market right now you are probably looking at a minimum of $10-15K for TT. a SC is less cost but also less power

IMHO a TT is way better on the G than a SC

You just want the sound, or an actual turbo kit?

Just do what I do, roll down the windows and make the whoosh noise every time the car shifts.

I knew there was a chance of me getting FLAMED for this post - but seriously there is something abuot that sound that is just great. I love the car as is - but i always want more.. after a some research i am leaning towards a SuperCharger... maybe Stillen. Will match my Stillen Long Pipe intakes well but i want to read some reviews on the SC first

You won't get the same pssstststsfffssttt sound from a supercharger like the turbo. It'll be there, just not the same.

I'd look into the GTM supercharger if you're going to spend the money. Easier to install, easier to maintain, and easier to revert back to stock if you want to sell the car down the road.
