+1

Sam knew the engine was blown 2 weeks ago, when I called him to inquire about the build, since I saw the GTM couplers on there. I figured before I bid, I'd ask him some questions. I also spoke to Sharif about this car. They both said to stay away from it since so many hands had already been involved. So I did not bid. It definitely was not a gtm kit, but close to their stage 1 TT kit.

For that price, I would've bought it and part it out. Sell the turbo kit for 6000. Sell the wheels for 3000. Slap on an engine from ebay for 5000. Then you got yourself a g37 beater car for 14000ish.

Right on point .

Customer was aware of a possible internal damage that could have accured form previous tuning sessions attempt and the horrible installations, Actually we were truly surprise that it could turn out the way it did. His exact words were if anything else would come up that he will have just to dump of the car so I'm not surprise to see it on e bay. And i seriously doubt that he turned the boost up, H was relay was traumatize and scared to death due to his last two experiences.

What an expensive lesson to learn, I feel relay bad to those people .. No buddy deserves this .

Choosing the right shop and FI kit when going force induction is like a marriage, You make the right decision and you will be happy for a long time, Make the wrong one and it is literally like getting an STD .. you will be screwed for life.

The theme of the story is to relay make sure you pick the right partner the first time.

Couldn't have said it any better. People always jump from place to place to save a buck, in the end... you get this, and thousands of dollars down the drain.

well I stand corrected in my previous post. Just figured if you knew the motor was blown up then you would have mentioned it since all that was said in your post is that we weren't sure if there was internal damage. Guess were all sure now lol. Sucks for the owner though either way.

The owner gave up on everything, I'm sure he is putting everything behind and starting fresh!

From: Framingham Ma,
I love seeing these threads make me, More inclinded to make the drive to GTM if I ever go FI, +1000 for Sam, The blown engine was something Sam touch on in the first post, " May have possiable internal Damage" The owner refused the tear down and he got what he asked for, BOOM. With the $$$ he was into it he should have let Same tear it down so he knew.. Must be nice to have that kinda $$4 laying around not to care.

You really can't blame the guy, He knew he was taking a chance but could not really endure any more expenses at that time.
