If it was Forged, they really have ***** to post another of their TT build https://www.myg37.com/forums/engine-...greddy-tt.html

I thought they might have redeemed themselves.

forged didn't do the install...
they tried to fix the mess that the florida shop created...
and for whatever reason, couldn't come to agreement with the owner on what steps to take, so the car went to GTM

That's just wrong!!! Guess it shows how important it is to be careful with mods and who you get to do them.

Dang, owner probably got it, turned the boost way up and beat the **** out of it!
I'm kind of surprised he blew it up and never contacted GTM, otherwise I don't think Sam would've made this post.

i don't know the circumstances of what led to the blown engine,
but it wasn't a built motor, just stock.

Kinda odd about why they didn't have the turbo kit uninstalled first then trade it in. Might get more money back. And the wheels too.

Either they're really loaded, or just sick and tired with spending money on that car.

Well here is my .02. I don't see why GTM wouldn't have posted this up regardless of the car's status now. Reason being is that car was jacked up when it got to GTM. It left GTM running and looking good. Car was not putting out alot of power acording to the dyno sheet posted so that means two things to me.
1. that the car possibly might have had internal damage so sam didn't want to push the car. Also the owner probably didn't want to pay sam to open the engine up and take a look, which I am sure sam recomended to him.
2. Plain and simple owner cranked the boost up and blown the engine lol. Now maybe he was in the "safe boost range" for our engines but like said he could have had internal damage.

If the car was having noticable issues sam would have never let the car go. I mean the owner would have had to argue with sam in order to get the car back lol. That inturn means sam would have never posted this because it wouldn't have been a success but a failure on the owners part. I hope you guys see where i am getting at with this.

What probably happen today is Sam seen this thread and learned alot of new info about the car he posted because of the info you guys presented and sam most likely called the owner and asked WTF happend. So with that, Sam can you jump in here and tell us what happen to this poor VQ37VHR.

All I can say is wow. That's some shoddy work. The poor craftsmanship makes me appreciate my quality parts I have.

I think Sam's intention for this thread is to tell people to do their research and homework before letting some unknown shop touch their cars.
