Did you have this done at Infiniti of Kansas City? I had a teflash done on my car in January and I have to admit it drives worse now, very laggy. What update did they do to your car? It's going in on Friday to get a ripped bc boot and rattles taken care of.

Yes, I just reported poor shift timing and constantly being in too high a gear at low speed and mentioned there was a new trans program update to fix it. He mentioned a tsb when I picked it up

Just got the car back and I noticed a difference immediately. It drives and responds like you would expect and then some. The poor folks who had the car before me must have been pulling their hair out or just simply accepted it.

At any rate they ended up performing an update per ITB12027 without me mentioning anything other than the symptoms the car was having.

They also fixed a minor issue they found on their own and replaced my battery which they said was a little low on volts. Looks like they also performed an ECM update after replacing the battery.

Didn't shed a penny for any of this service to boot. Happy camper.

Is there any way to confirm that you have the latest ECM/TCM update?

Call the dealership and ask them to look up your service records and see if it has the latest update.

From: Framingham Ma,
The only thing I have been noticing on mine is recently the trans slips into 5th first time I get on it to jump on the HW? Yes I warm up the car till Operating temp before I leave and the HW is 2 miles from my house. Is this a something with the TSP or something else? Thanx

I've been very pleased with the transmission in my '13 thus far. I did have the advisor look up any transmission TSB's relating to my VIN during my 10k service today and there weren't any.

I recently got my 2011 G37X Sedan 7AT IN february..

I have nothing but shifting issues and delay in acceleration.

I've called every Infiniti dealer in Manhattan/ Brooklyn and long island. All of which whom denied the TSB. Should I physically walk in there with the TSB in hand and show it to them?

Can someone tell me where can I go within the tristate area to get this update?

I hate this transmission with a serious burning passion. I yelled at it today. Literally filled me with rage and i yelled at my shifter while driving. Called the dealer and the POS is as up to date as possible. This car cannot go away soon enough.

It works it works my god it works

Just bought this car very recently, found an amazing deal on a 2010 G37x with only 38000km on it

I loved everything except coasting because the car couldn't coast it just slowed to a halt as it downshifted

I was like this is it, this is why the guy sold the car with so few miles, he hated this transmission. I bought it from a small dealership where the guy claimed he'd give me my money back within 30 days if I wasn't satisfied, so I was going to go back to him until I saw online this problem affects a ton of you guys

I just went to a dealership and prayed they wouldn't gouge me. Oakville Infiniti here in Ontario was fantastic. They did the update and washed my car all at no cost

The best part is THE CAR DRIVES LIKE YOU EXPECT IT TO

GOOD LORD THE GAS MILEAGE ALONE I WILL SAVE IS SOMETHING

MUCH LESS THE ENDLESS FRUSTRATION OF NEVER BEING ABLE TO COAST

thank you Infiniti Oakville

2013 G37x 7-speed reprogram

I just got my 2013 G37x reprogrammed at the dealer. Night and Day difference. I thought the transmission issue just affected the 2009-2012 37's but it's for the 2013 as well. Now the car drives like it should.

The dealer told me it wasn't an "official" TSB but it's a computer update nonetheless.
