Agree with the statements above: The car’s personality with this update is totally different. On my way home, I noticed I'm driving a different car. Much more responsive.
3 weeks later - still loving the change.

I also had the TSB sitting in the passenger seat just in case. I also got my oil changed for 1/2 off
Thank you...I'll give him a call and see if we can line it up.

I do not want to make it worse.
I could swear Im seeing a good increase in MPG BUT it needs to be taken with a grain of salt, since I was rarely driving in D before the flash so I could get around the laginess.

Now I havent even touched DS or the paddles in almost 2 weeks, D seems to be performing well enough that I dont feel the need to. If calculations are correct Im looking at 20 or 30 miles more than normal before Ill have to fill up. My car normally gets 18mpg or so, so 20-30 extra per tank is 1 or 1.5 gallons of fuel "saved"

I am going Friday for my 2009. Now they haven't checked the VIN because I wasn't in their system and this is my first time in.

He seemed to know about it, so all seems cool. Also bought the MAP Navigation Update $99, BUT they SAID its $109 to install More than the damn Navigatiion Update Itself

Yes - Guelph Infiniti Nissan did my 2011 G37x sedan. I know at least one other person got his G37xS sedan done at another Ontario dealership (not sure which one).

If your dealer continue to give you a hard time, perhaps you could try another dealer.
The service advisor acknowledged both the problem and the new TSB, but still insisted that it did not apply to my car but to "check back soon" to see if the scope expanded to include it. She even double-checked to verify this was the case. Truly bizarre.

I Think I found your problem as soon as you said "she".

I have to report that I feel my car has lost some of the response time it had when the flash was initially installed. Coming out of a turn isnt the instant response I had for the first few days post-flash. I feel a little lag creeping back in during downshifting (especially at highway speeds).

Now the only thing I can think maybe happened is that I ran the car low on fuel. Not sure if that triggers anything, or messes anything up in ECU/TCU "learning" or what, but aside from that there has been nothing out of the ordinary driving/operation wise in my car.

So either the fuel thing messes something up (not permanently if it does, I might try an ECU reset), there is still something bad with the programming, or the tranny is "adapting" in a way that reduces performance. Either way, Im starting to think this might not be as permanent a fix as I had hoped. Not sure if others have had the same experience, but I might give my dealer a call just to tell them what Im experiencing.

Won't be low fuel related. Highly unlikely, but it could be related to lower octane fuel in your tank now. Most likely it is adapting

Interesting, I have not noticed any decrease in "goodness". Yesterday I was driving a little more spiritedly than usual and I was still very pleasantly surprised how quick it is to respond now, whereas before it was endless frustration with it. It's not as downshift-happy as cars from say 5 years ago, and if I jump in one of my other cars and compare, sure it is a bit more reluctant than those. But I believe that is due to the fuel economy goal. I still find that it drops down one or many gears on command within less than a half second or so when I use only my right foot. Now that the thing actually works well, I'm even getting used to simply "picking a gear" with just my right foot. Coming out of a turn it still seems instant-enough to me, I'm not feeling anything even slightly close to the "wait for it" B.S it had before. Still very happy with it, still very drivable and enjoyable (it was NOT at all before).

my f150 has had several trans flashes and nothing matches the crispness of a new pcm reset. Give it a few days/weeks then kinda meh. Same here most likely.

One and only that one day I experienced some slight lags, but not major lags like before the re-flash. It all happened in that one day...my G was kind of temperamental. It cured itself and I haven't experience that again since.

By the way, gas mileage seem to be the same as before the latest update. I can't tell accurately because of my driving pattern is different everyday. But definitely not something noticeable yet.

I'm on day two of the update and loving it. The car just seems to always be it the right gear and therefore feels crisp, responsive, and ready to go. I got 28.1 mpg on my drive to work (40 mile) through downtown Atlanta, which is about the same as before. The car really is running good.
