what else do you need to kill a mustang v6?

please dont quote numbers from other forum or youtube videos. the driver probably cant drive ****..

just try with a v6 mustang and remember what i told you.. they have no chance!!

there is one thing i would like to add for all of you

you guys used to hear about the 350z with full bolts on and engine build is hard to catch with.. and etc.. its unbeatable. bla bla..

well guess what, all these mods INCLUDE cams they barely reach 300 HP (talking about DE engine)..

while we can reach 300 HP easlyyyyy.. just intakes HFC and Exhaust and boom.. welcome to 300 HP club.. we still didnt get headers, light weight pulley, light weight wheels, M370 manifold, crack the VVEL... so just imagine what our car can do after all these mods..

its a killer car its not a corvette killer but it can kill any v6 you can imagine off beside porsche (before some fool tell me it cant kill a GT-R.. we are talking about N/A cars)
Its not that the G37 is show, it simple menas that Ford atropes it way up with both the GT and the V6. I would still rather drive the G than a V6 mustang but gibe cerdito where it's due. The V6 2011 mustang WILL give a stock G37 a run for its money. At least til 114 mph!

Before talking smack about people "flooring their G's" do a little more research.. the 7AT has a 3.3 final drive ratio, and that's not really a way to compare cars anyways :s

Motortrend dyno's 2011 Mustangs, both GT and V6 - Motor Trend The General Forum Forum

Now all we need to see is a dyno graph.

http://www.insideline.com/ford/musta...and-video.html

"Wind it out to seven grand on every shift, pound gears through the six speeds and you can have a blast with this car. You might not win a few light-to-light drag races (it's quicker than a Chevy Camaro V6 and a Hyundai Genesis V6, but chances are you'll lose more than you'll win (a Nissan Z and an Infiniti G coupe are significantly quicker). Whatever. Drive this car like you hate it and you'll even have a good time losing. Hell, it destroys its tires on a good 1-2 powershift and even gets good rubber on the 2-3 if you're quick."

For the record I have beaten a couple of 3 valve gt mustangs from a stop. Put about half a car to a car on em.

That's not too surprising. The 3V GT Mustangs aren't much quicker than the new 2011 V6 Mustang. I bet a lot of 2010 Mustang GT owners are pissed that they didn't wait another year for the 5.0L engine on the 2011 Mustang GT.

I know I would be pissed. The new 5.0 seems to be a sweet little engine. Time will tell if its as good as the original 5.0.

Not without a blower or a turbo. And we need more HP/tq if you want to compete with actual sports cars and not luxury cars with some sport added in to them. 330hp aimt **** in the realm of sports cars so quit thinking these cars are as bad *** as you make them out to be. Its still a heavy *** car with a v6. A strong v6 but still not enough to be what I consider a true sports car. For crying out loud the damn mustang v6 is 300+HP. In this day and age if you want to be taken seriously as a sports car then you need to be knocking on 12sec quarter miles and 400+ ponies. The car is fun and peppy but its damn sure not gonna scare anyone. Not naturally aspirated. Slap a blower or a turbo on and its a whole new ball game.

well a stock g37 obviously won’t…but fbo they make 330-350 whp which is like 420-435 bhp

Nope.

Here's a simple conversion calculator, in case anyone reads all the way through this stupid, stupid thread. So much arrogant posturing and misinformation... OMG.
