Oh man .. Here we go again .. You can have as many uprev tunes you want and it will not eliminate the problem . I have a uprev tune and it is still there . I had a sprint booster that for the price was really a cheap piece of plastic. Now I have the pilot throttle controller and this thing is awesome . So many options in regards to adjusting the lag .. Its simple peeps . Its your sensor in your gas pedal to the cpu to your throttle. You magnify that signal and you have no delay .. You are gonna have peeps that say just mash the pedal .. Yeah right !!!

OK had this experience yesterday. From a cold start drove the car on the way to work, went to press the gas pedal car responded slowly as if I never pressed the pedal, then slowly it began to accelerate. This happened until the car warmed up.

I had an 87 Nissan 200 SX V6 that would not upshift when cold when car warmed up it shifted normally. I am beginning to think that Nissan/Infiniti has built these transmissions and the engine computers to act that way until the vehicle's oil and transmission fluid gets to operating temps.

My 08 G35 S did not perform this way. I am going to call the dealer and ask about this. I'll let you know the "company line".

Weird...
When driving my 07 altima, i def. had better response immidiettly after a cold start-up. May be different due to the CVT.

NeverBoneStock --> What is this "pilot throttle controller" you speak of?

I googled and got nothing but air compressors and articles on F-15's...

Help! I want this to go away!

But there is such a thing as a "throttle controller"

Thanks 11_xS_coupe, I was hoping it was a bolt on FOR the Throttle Control.

Not sure if I want to replace the TC all together but, may have to start looking into it...

EDIT: Nevermind, just looked at your link... no replacing, just remapping. Neat.

Sorry it's the pivot 3 drive throttle controller.. Did not check my spelling.. It's a little bit cheaper than the sprint booster and the adjustments for this thing is insane.. And it's not a cheap piece of plastie either..

I drive mine like I stole it and still get lag which is driving me crazy on my 11 G37! Just really noticed it last night around the 40 mph mark. Hit the gas and super lag, then it kicked in 2-3 seconds later.

I've had the same problem. Two computer updates for 7AT problems and this still happens. Completely infuriating. Very heavy feeling throttle too. It is horrible to drive this car, especially in DC traffic.

Is there anything we can do to inform Infiniti USA about this even though they might know already?

I've never seen an AT model that doesn't at least lag a little. MT seems a little better.
Reset your ECU and drive it like you just stole the Batmobile for a few weeks.
