Sound coming from under car.

Ok I just bough an 08 g37s with 7k on it. I drove it home and when I shut the car off it sounds like a crackling and poping sound Comming from under the car maybe the exhaust heat shield?

This. It should sound like a "tick" or "pop", kinda like dropping a small pebble on a metal pan, but while you have your hand on the pan to muffle the sound.
