Maintennance on a SC kit.

I started saving up for a SC kit. Hopefully get it by next year.

I know aftermarket FI kits require some maintennance. But for someone driving 8-10k miles a year, how much money realistically would i need to spend on maintaining a supercharger on the G?

i searched errwhere but i couldnt find. Thanks

Depends on which kit you're going with... The Stillen requires specific fluid changes for the Vortech blower every 5k miles, the GTM kits which uses fully synthetic oil only needs to be changed once every 15k miles.

Then just your traditional oil changes, but I'd recommend using a high-grade fully synthetic (Mobile 1, Motul, Redline, ect) oil.

no motor oil is made for a specific car.

there's not much you'll have to do to maintain the SC. just be sure to check the belts, coolant if it's a Stillen kit. the Vortech uses it's own SC oil which needs to be change at 2500 miles initially and every 7500 after that. change your motor oil every 3000 miles. check your air filters and make sure it's clean. that's pretty much about it.

you should consider supporting mods too! like gauges to monitor your car. good luck!
