Anyone upgrade the stock radiator?

how are you monitoring your water temps???

our radiator does a pretty good job cooling the coolant. don't think you need it unless your water temp always hovers over 210-220. if that's the case you'll need a new thermostat so that it opens at a much lower temp. or you can upgrade your radiator fan and hook up a manual switch to it.

lol! hahaha! i thought for a minute how can his coolant temps be so low? our normal coolant temp is somewhere between 170-190. anything after i believe 210 our fan should kick on.

No super G. Not sure what up but water temp never seems to get pass 1/2 way mark and car has not gone in to limp mode....

the temp gauge is not going to go above half on your dashboard until it is overheating as far as i know. only time ive seen that was in my work truck a while ago when the thermostat broke and it would go all the way to the top, and thought my car was overheating.

i am using camp2 and the external sensor package to monitor water / oil temps.

man i am stupid, i meant 243. dude i dont know where i got 143 from. yes, i hang around 190-210 when im driving depending on weather and if im on the street or highway. oil is about the same

HAHAHAHA! all good man! i was like 143! that's not even on normal operating temp lol. yeah, you gotta find a way to keep the water temp lower. 243 is too high and getting very close to the boiling point. mines stays at 175 driving and 200-210 on idle.

i have the HKS CAMP 2 also. did you hook up everything yourself?

AFAIK.... Stillen offers an aftermarket solution for the radiator. I know that it fits the 370Z, but I'm not sure if it will need a new bracket or if they offer the same for the G. I've seen them at their open house meet.

Have you tried Red Line Water Wetter? Living in Vegas, you might also be able to run a lower percentage of antifreeze than 50/50 (maybe 75/25?) and get your temps a little lower.

havent tried any solutions like that, i will give it a shot, thanks for all the input!

my local shop put all of the sensors in place.
