4.08 Final Drive = OMG

Well almost everyone knows I have been waiting to install my new 4.08 final drive and after mnths of waiting all I can say is ... OMG. It hard to explain this for everyone to understand . This fcukin car should have came with these from the factory. It pulls like no other ! I can launch so much better . It gets into the powerband way faster to. This isnt a review but if anyone who is staying NA or plan on having a SC installed like me . This is the mod to get. Its not cheap but well worth it . A few pics for ya...

Can you elaborate a lil more on what it does, who you got it from and pricing? thanks. I'm guessing it's the same concept as motorcycle gearing change to either get more torque down low or higher speed in the higher gears?

how's your gas mileage and what rpm are you cruising at in 6th (or 7th) at 70 mph versus where you were at before the swap?

That's the first question that was going to come out of my mouth.

Any electronic issues what so ever. You speedo should be working correctly, right? Any gear whine? How did you LSD look when you pulled it out? Awesome news man.

Not so sure this is a must for forced induction cars though. The added power and torque do wonders to make up for the lack of gears. Too much gear and a lot more power means more spinning of the tires.

The general consensus on my350z is that longer final drive is recommended for N/A or supercharged car but not for Turboed.
