Blitz TC

Hey guys and gals,

Very quick review of the Blitz Throttle Controller.
I have a G37x sedan AT and the throttle lag always annoyed me as I moved up from an Altima SE-R 6mt which had very sensitive throttle which I loved.
I was able to pick up the Blitz TC in the classifieds for a very good price so I didn’t have to dish out the full $350. (Though I do think that its worth it for those that HATE the lag)

Anyways – I love this thing.
I have it set on SP2 setting out of the (ECO, SP1, SP2, SP3) and the response is so much better! I don’t feel like I have to half floor the pedal for the car to move.
At speeds of around 45 – 50 where usually the car would bog down in 7th and slowly accelerate and then at some point later shift to go faster – now it I press the pedal a bit to accelerate, the car shifts right away and moves. Much better!

I was not interested in getting a tune as it messes with the ECU and this mod can be removed at any time so the dealer wont ask any questions if any problems come up.

Overall a very worthy purchase in my opinion! I enjoy driving the car even more now.

Pic of where i installed it

Is it difficult to install? Plug and play or do you have to cut wires?

Very easy install, took me about 15 minutes - most of which was spent on trying to get a feel for the wires due to tight spaces.

No cutting of wires either.

Basically its the connector thats hidden behind the plastic piece thats behind the gas pedal. (if you got big hands/fingers it might be easier to remove this plastic piece) Othewise disconnect the plug thats there. Plug in the Blitz and plug the old wire into the Blitz. VERY easy.

ill take pics of my install/mounting today.

I like mine as well. I placed mine on the short alumin washi trim to the left of the steering wheel and ran the wire down along the dash line. One issue I'm having is that the unit doesn't always turn off when I turn the engine off. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Very easy install, toughest part of disconnecting the stock harness since it sits behind a plastic cover.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on a 6MT since it has nothing to do with the tranny, just the drive by wire signal.
