I searched all over, Some say a bit to loud (along with HFCs), The sound is just beautiful, And not too appealing, Hence its "HKS" this being about the 2nd most expensive exhaust right next to Amuse and a few other brands. What's really the verdict on this exhaust system for the 37? I just placed an order and was a bit concerned but i made sure i heard it in person before doing so.

It sounds ok imho. Pretty deep and loud from what I can tell in the vids. I don't know if the cost justifies it though. Maybe someone can chime in with driving impressions.

NOT loud at all.. i dunno what u guys are smoking. u can tell there is aftermarket exhaust but is not like loud loud which is why i love it for a daily driver. it's not as deep sounding as i would like it though. the sound is okay, i like it.

u can't really hear the exhaust in the car though... some people don't like that.. some people want that, that's personal preference.

but one thing is that it looks the best.. best looking exhaust hands down, besides maybe Injen exhaust if they do ever come out.. (not comparing with amuse or other more expensive exhausts of course).

if u want in-ur-face sound, HKS is not for u, but if u want a refined classy sound for a daily driver, this is perfect. I have not heard FI or MXP in person, I have heard ARK in person and compare ARK with HKS, ARK is LOUUDDDD and super deep/aggressive... but that's too loud for my liking for a daily driver.. love the ARK sound though...

I've heard in person HKS with Stillen Gen3 and Berk HFCs and that is LOUD and sounds REALLY GOOD.. thing though is the loudness only comes out when u gas it.. on normal cruising it's really tame juz like HKS without hfcs or intakes, so imo, it's perfect! Aggressive sound on demand..

If u ask me, i would pick HKS again if i have a choice again (and i voted for Ahh not to crazy about it)

most of all there is no drone at all with HKS.
If you have that drone you will hate your exhaust and a lot of others has it.

Whoever the 4 that say it sounds too ricey must not have it or heard it in person. I get tons of compliments on the look and sound.

I think it sounds insane from the video's online, but yeah HFC's will bring the roar outta any exahust setup.

i got HKS w/o HFC, i love the sound. not to loud but not to quiet either.

cold starts sound very loud, but when the car is on idle u cant barely hear it. also when ur cruising it sounds very nice, but when u hit the gas or downshift it sounds loud(aggressive).
