Looking to buy LSD
But why would you want to add an LSD to a car with mushy suspension? I mean, you are saying that you want to put down power in the turns, but are ok with the body rolling all over the place.
But I guess its to each his own, and anything can be done with money, etc etc
I have a Quaife on my 2003 350 Z. I purchased it because after several AutoX and Trackdays, the stock LSD became an Un-LSD (open diff).
The Quaife is gear driven rather than clutch plate activated, and has a seamless engagement. However, it still needs both wheels to have SOME traction in order to work. I also have a stiffer rear roll bar, and when I go over sharp transisions from flat to a steep incline at an angle (like my driveway), I can still lose traction on the unloaded wheel. So this LSD is no good for off roading!
It's perfect for trackdays and daily drivers because the smooth engagement won't upset the car (or the passengers/driver).

That is correct, sir! I feel they are responsible for good launches - gotta one for good launching power, imo - i want all my power to go cleanly to both the wheels, not just some of it to one wheel.
