*FIX for high-pitch frequency noise*
My car is going in for this fix next week. The service manager said that normally he can't hear high pitches but was able to hear mine right off the bat and was even able to hear it over the radio! He did mention that the reported fix was to swap the ECM.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out when I get my car back. Wish me luck.

Is your "service engine" light still on? I haven't taken mine back in yet because I figured what is the point if there is no fix. Let me know if you've heard anything new.
As far as the ECM replacement goes, so far so good after about 1000 miles. *fingers crossed*

Mine is slated to go in on April 7th. Am getting a slew of stuff done at that time, so this just one thing out of many....but it's the one I'm looking most forward too. I still haven't seen the TSB for replacing the VVEL with an LS3, waiting for that one. ha.
Mine goes in on the 15th. Went to the dealer today expecting to fight with them about getting the fix done. To my surprise, the guy knew exactly what I was talking about and knew all about the fix. Told me they have a new convertible that they are waiting to replace the ECM on as well!
Can't wait to get this fixed!!!

2009 G37x here. Took the car to the stealership, they heard the noise, ordered the ECU overnight, and the next day I had my car back with no noise. They also fixed the squeaking and tapping from the windshield - it's the front plastic cowls making that noise. Noisefree G - WOOT!
